Is Jimmy Fallon a Rerun Tonight? Friday Repeats at 11:35 p.m. and What Is New

No. On a Friday night The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Daily Show are all repeats, and that is the schedule rather than a one-off. The weeknight network hosts make four episodes a week, Monday through Thursday.
One hour is genuinely live, and it is not on a broadcast network. Here is the grid, and when each show is new again.

Last week, Friday, Oct. 30 was a repeat night: NBC listed Fallon's Oct. 22 hour (Kristen Bell, Joe Manganiello and ADÉLA) and marked Meyers with Quinta Brunson, Stephen Graham and Owen Thiele as a repeat (Interbridge: the Oct. 20 show), and no Kimmel episode was listed.

Is Jimmy Fallon new tonight?
Not on a Friday. NBC cut The Tonight Show from five original episodes a week to four in September 2024, and the Friday slot has carried a repeat ever since.
The reason given at the time was budget, not ratings or Fallon himself; he had just extended his deal through 2028. He already dropped Fridays every summer before the change, so NBC kept the summer pattern running all year.

Why is Jimmy Kimmel Live a rerun on Friday?
Kimmel has worked a four-night week for years, and ABC labels the Friday hour an encore rather than a repeat. It is the same thing on the grid.
There are exceptions, and they follow sports. When ABC carried Game 2 of the NBA Finals on a Friday in June, it scheduled a fresh Kimmel to follow the game.
The booking everybody talked about in September was on a Tuesday — Stephen Colbert, in his first late-night appearance since CBS ended The Late Show, which we covered in our Colbert update.
Is there a new Daily Show on Friday?
No. Comedy Central makes The Daily Show Monday through Thursday, and the next new episode after a Thursday is the following Monday.

What about Colbert and Seth Meyers?
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is gone. CBS ended the franchise on May 21, 2026, handing 11:35 p.m. to Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and 12:37 a.m. to Funny You Should Ask.
Seth Meyers is the one that moved. NBC ran repeats at 12:35 a.m. from early August, and Late Night came back on Monday 21 September with Kelly Clarkson as the first guest — details on our Late Night schedule page. After that it is a four-night week like the rest.

Is anything new on late-night TV on Friday?
One show: Real Time with Bill Maher, live on HBO at 10 p.m. ET and streaming on HBO Max. HBO posts the interview guest and the two panellists only a day or two before the taping, so the coming Friday's names are usually not listed yet — the block at the top of this page has them once they are.
Bravo's Watch What Happens Live skips Fridays as well; its week runs Sunday plus Monday to Thursday. That leaves HBO as the only answer after 10 p.m. on a Friday.
When are Fallon and Kimmel new again?
Fallon, Monday. After the Friday, Oct. 30 repeat (the Oct. 22 hour with Kristen Bell, Joe Manganiello and ADÉLA), NBC's page lists him back on Monday, Nov. 2 with Sam Rockwell, Niecy Nash-Betts, Eric Ripert and Kurt Vile.
Kimmel came back on Monday, Oct. 26, with Dave Grohl, Connie Britton and Foo Fighters, after the week of Oct. 19 ran on repeats; TVmaze and Interbridge both list new episodes Monday through Thursday, Oct. 26–29, with Foo Fighters as the musical guest all four nights. The Daily Show runs new episodes Monday through Thursday as well, with its guests announced closer to air.
How do I watch this week's new episodes over the weekend?
Streaming covers what Friday does not. Fallon and Seth Meyers land on Peacock, Kimmel on Hulu and The Daily Show on Paramount+, all the day after air, so a Saturday morning catches up the whole week.
