Talk Show Guests This Week (Sept. 28–Oct. 2, 2026): Kimmel in Brooklyn, Springsteen, Pugh
The short version: Jimmy Kimmel takes his show to Brooklyn for five nights, with New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Monday, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello on Tuesday, John Oliver and Seth Meyers on Thursday, and Paul McCartney with Sen. Bernie Sanders on Friday. Fallon counters with Florence Pugh on Monday and Anne Hathaway on Wednesday, and The View books journalist Evan Gershkovich on Tuesday.
Two things shape the week. Kimmel tapes every episode at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Howard Gilman Opera House, which is why his guest list reads like a New York roll call and why he adds a Friday show he normally skips. The other is a press tour: Pugh and Christopher Abbott are selling East of Eden, and their names turn up on four different desks between Monday and Friday.

Kimmel opens Brooklyn with Pete Davidson, Mayor Mamdani and the band TV on the Radio. Fallon has Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett and a performance from Gracie Abrams, while Meyers follows at 12:35 with Kate McKinnon, on her book The Jungle of Carabanana, and Christopher Abbott.
McKinnon starts her day at The View, so she is the first double of the week. Live begins a themed Fall Flavors week with Mark Duplass and Mauricio Umansky. Drew Barrymore's own site lists Michael Strahan and Bellamy Young for Monday. Andy Cohen has Jeff Lewis and Joe Bradley on WWHL, which TVmaze lists at 10 p.m. that night rather than 9.
Who is on Tuesday, Sept. 29?
This is Kimmel's music night. Howard Stern sits down first, then Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello talk about the Power to the People Festival and perform together. A week ago Morello was on The Daily Show plugging his album, so he is now two for two on consecutive weeks.
Fallon has Hailee Steinfeld, Daniel Kaluuya and musical guest Magnus Ferrell. Meyers goes with an author panel: Rachel Maddow on Kill.Bury.Print., Eric Idle on Idle in Provence, and restaurateur Danny Meyer. Lisa Ling guest co-hosts The View for Evan Gershkovich, whose book is This Cursed Beautiful Land. Bravo pairs Hailey Glassman with Sai De Silva at 9.
What happens Wednesday, Sept. 30?
Kimmel books Billy Crystal, on his project 860, alongside Mahershala Ali and the hip-hop group De La Soul. Fallon has Anne Hathaway, Riz Ahmed and singer Alex Warren. Meyers closes the night with Florence Pugh and comedian Ms. Pat, whose book is Ms. American Dream.
The View gives most of its hour to the East of Eden cast: Pugh, Abbott and Mike Faist, plus executive producer Zoe Kazan, with Debbie Matenopoulos guest co-hosting. WWHL has Mary Cosby and Ricki Lake at 9.
Who is on Thursday, Oct. 1?
John Oliver and Seth Meyers share Kimmel's couch to promote their residency at the Beacon Theatre, and comedian Robby Hoffman brings her special Wake Up. Sherri Shepherd guest co-hosts The View for Harry Connick Jr., who has a book about his mother, and Susan G. Komen chief executive Amber Guild. Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman close Bravo's week.
Fallon and Meyers have not posted Thursday guests yet, so we list both as TBA rather than guess. Meyers taping a Kimmel segment that night does not by itself mean Late Night is dark; the board will change once NBC posts the listing.
What is on Friday, Oct. 2?
Friday is usually daytime only, but not this week. Kimmel ends Brooklyn with Paul McCartney, promoting The Boys of Dungeon Lane, Sen. Bernie Sanders and the band Goose.
